Claire C. (Darragh) Saltmarsh, 85 of Whitman formerly of Dorchester and Quincy passed away September 25, 2016 at Brockton Hospital surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Robert F. Saltmarsh. Loving mother of Kurt R. Saltmarsh and his wife Wanda Cunningham of Whitman, and Keith M. Saltmarsh and his wife Suzanne of Leominster. Sister of, Geraldine Pio of Worcester area, and the late, Ralph H., Albert, Walter, Regina, Olive, Grace and Barbara. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Claire worked for the Boston Public Schools and also Bradlees's Dept. Store. She loved puzzles, playing bingo, and trips to Foxwoods.

Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting Hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Thursday Sept. 29th 2-4 & 6-8 pm.

Funeral Mass Friday in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at 9 am. Interment to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester.
