Daniel J. Chisholm of Hanover passed away on Wednesday April 25, 2018 at the age of 69.  Beloved husband of 42 years to Jacqueline M. (Wilson) Chisholm. Loving father of Allisa B. Herigstad and her husband Omon of Wayland. Robyn D. MacAlpine and her husband David of Hingham. Brother of Julie Pantazelos of Randolph, William "Chip" Chisholm of Quincy. Doting Pa of Daniel. Landon, Fiona, and Eleanora. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Dan was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. Retired Boston Fire Department Captain of E-21. Member of Boston Firefighters Local 718, and International Firefighters Assoc.

Relatives and friends invited to visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Sunday April 29 ^th 3-7 pm.

Funeral Mass Monday in St. Mary's Church, Hanover at 11:30 am.

Burial to follow at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree.
