Doris M. (Salvadore) Brown of Rockland passed away April 25, 2012. She was 88. Doris was born in Brockton. She living most of her life in Rockland she attended McKinley Elementary School and Rockland High School. She worked as an assembler for Randy's E.S.L. Engineering. She was also a member of the YWCA in Middleboro.

Beloved wife of the late John N. Brown. Loving mother of Joan A. McPherson of East Bridgewater, Doris N. Bean of Hanson, John W. Brown of Hanson, Robert J. Brown of Rockland, William E. Brown of Rockland, Helen E. Porter of Plymouth, and Karen E. Carestia of Bourne. Cousin of Helen Kelly of Malden, Phyllis Gilpatrick of Brockton, Richard Duhaine of Rockland, William Duhaine of WA, and William Duhaine of Brockton, and niece of Libby Duhaine of Brockton. Also survived by 23 grandchildren,  34 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on  Monday April 30 ^th 4-7 pm.

Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St., Rockland on Tuesday at 9 am. Interment will be private.
