Edward J. Whalen, 78 of Hanover passed away on February 27, 2021. Son of the late Edward and Albina (Sancuk) Whalen. Beloved husband of Antoinette (Toni) and adopted daughter Emily. Step father to Danielle Vitagliano and Annette McClellan. Grandfather to Dustin, Emily, Dominick, and Monroe who all called him Pappy. Brother to Geraldine, Richard, Maureen, Thomas, and the late Robert.

Edward was a former Sheet Metal Worker and a member of Local 17. He is a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving from 1960-1966.

Visitation will be in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Friday Mar. 5 ^th 8:30-9:30 am. Funeral mass to follow at St. Mary's Church, Hanover at 10 am.

Interment with Military honors at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:15 pm.
