Edward G. Youngclaus, 78 of Hanson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family March 30, 2022. Ed was born in Dorchester. He was a retiree from the MBTA. He enjoyed playing Golf, trips to Aruba for over 25 years, and spending time with his family.

Husband of the late Ann M. (Leary) Youngclaus. He is survived by his children Edward Youngclaus and his wife Jennifer of Whitman, and Kristin Cirillo and her husband Todd of Whitman. Brother of Anne Marie Claflin and her husband Donald of Newton, Rosemary O'Neill of Quincy, and the late Denise Hattenburg. Grandfather of Devin, Elisabeth, Derek, Megan, Drew and Katelyn. Great-grandfather of Amelia, Mackenzie. Brady-Ka, and Kamau.

Relatives and friends invited to visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Thursday April 7 ^th 4-7 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 am in the funeral home. Private burial at St. James Cemetery in Whitman.
