Genevieve C. (Kenney) Blixt, 92 of Rockland formerly of Dorchester passed away January 15, 2016 at the Colonial Nursing and Rehab. in Weymouth. Wife of the late John A. Blixt. She is survived by her daughters Karin Andreasen and her husband John of Rockland, Patti McDonough and her husband Kevin of Holbrook, and Denise Carter and her husband Patrick of Abington. Also survived by her grandchildren Kerrie, Craig, Breandan, Shayla, and Michael, and 7 great-grandchildren.  Genevieve worked for the Boston Public Schools form many years. She was a member of the Milton American Legion Auxiliary.

Visitation will be in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Tuesday Jan. 19 ^th 4-6 pm.

Funeral Service in the funeral home Wednesday at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Burial to follow at Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree.
