Georgiana M (Tatalias) Murphy of Whitman passed away after a long illness Friday January 27, 2023. She was the devoted mother of the late Christopher and Scott Murphy. Georgiana was a graduate of UMass, and she spent her professional life as a Social Worker. She was held in high regard for the compassion and empathy always demonstrated to clients and families. She enjoyed walking their dog Cyrus, traveling and vacationing in Florida with her husband, family and friends. Her warm, generous spirit and beautiful smile endeared her to so many.

Georgiana will be dearly missed by her husband of 52 years Larry Murphy. Brother of Edward Tatalias and his wife Shirley of Fl. Her niece Stephanie and her cherished Godchild Maddie. Also survived by many sisters and bothers in laws , nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends invited to visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home 760 Washington St., Whitman on Thursday February 2 ^nd 3-7 pm.

Funeral service Friday at 10 am in the funeral home.

Burial to follow at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
