Gerard J. Villano, 94 of Hanson passed away December 23, 2015. Husband of the late Isabelle M. (Anderson) Villano. Gerald was born in Brooklyn, NY. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer serving in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years. He worked as a Government inspector, working on the Apollo Missile, and many other projects. He had many hobbies and interest, but he loved going to Coco Beach to watch the Apollo liftoffs.

He is survived by his children Gerard Villano and his wife Janet of Halifax, David Villano of Carver, Kathleen Welch and her husband Kevin of Hanson, Robert Villano of Whitman, and Wayne Villano and his wife Kathleen of Lakeville. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St. on Tuesday Dec. 29 ^th 10- 11 am. Followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 11 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Interment at Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne at 1 pm.
