James E. Fraser, 81 of Whitman formerly of Dorchester passed away September 8, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years Carolyn (Leville) Fraser. Loving father of Donna Sullivan and her husband Kevin of Hanson, James Fraser and his wife Jenifer of RI, Karen Fraser of Whitman and William Fraser and his wife Kathy of Lakeville. Brother of the late Martha Al Aloise. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 nieces.  James worked as a lifelong plumber until he retired.

Relatives and friends invited to visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Monday Sept. 11 ^th 5-8 pm.

Funeral Mass Tuesday in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at 10:30 am.

Burial to follow at St. James Cemetery in Whitman.
