James R. VanDyke of Brockton passed away November 19, 2009 at the V.A. Medical Center in Brockton, he was 83. Devoted father of Kelly VanDyke of Brockton, Jacqueline Mills of East Bridgewater, Dennis Van Dyke of FL, Donna Enos of Raynham, Linda and Nancy VanDyke of Brockton, and James VanDyke, Jr. of Bridgewater. Also survived by 9 grandchildren. James was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during WWII. He also volunteered at the Salvation Army in Brockton for many years.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., WHITMAN on Monday Nov. 23rd 9-10 am. Followed by a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Interment at Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne Monday at 12:30 pm.
