Janice Katherine (O'Loughlin) Comfrey 73 of Raynham passed peacefully on February 5th after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Harold F O'Loughlin and Helen L (Winn) O'Loughlin. She was happily married for 40 years to the late Joseph J Comfrey. She was the beloved mother of Scott Comfrey of Raynham and grandmother of Brittany, Kevin and Marissa. In addition to her son and grandchildren she is survived by her brothers Harold F O'Loughlin and his wife Candy of Sandwich, MA and Ronald F O'Loughlin and his wife Marsha of Tucson, AZ, her sisters Mary Dubois and her husband William of Leeds, ME and Rita Jiannetti and her husband George of N Attleboro and her beloved nieces, Sheree Henry Asdot, Sarah Jiannetti and nephew Christopher Jiannetti. Jan was known for her love of animals and was a licensed horseback riding instructor for many years. She was active in the dog show circuit and she leaves behind her Belgian Malinois Deevah. She also worked as a Dispatcher and Special Police Officer for the Town of Raynham.
