John 'Wally' F. Stanish, Jr. of Whitman formerly of Halifax passed away Thursday May 6, 2021. Wally was a retiree as the head of maintenance for the Town of Pembroke Housing Authority. He was a member of the Hanson AA Club. He loved watching the N.E. Patriots and playing horseshoes.

He is survived by his wife Geraldine (Curran) Stanish.  His daughter Jillian Stanish of Whitman.  Brother of Paul Stanish of Plymouth and the late William, J Stanish. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends invited to visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Tuesday May 11 ^th 4-8 pm.

Funeral Mass Wednesday in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 575 Monponsett St, Halifax at 11 am. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be mad in his memory to American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701.
