Merrill Sue (Barnette) Elwood, 46, of East Bridgwater, passed away peacefully surrounded by family early morning March 13, 2016. She is the beloved wife of William P. Elwood formally of Weymouth, the daughter of Mary Barnette and the late Harold "Buddy" Cannon. She is also survived by her daughters Amanda DeAngelis, wife of William DeAngelis and Vanessa Hollands, wife of Jamie Hollands; her grandsons Brayden DeAngelis and Camden DeAngelis, her sister Margo Martell. She also leaves many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St, Whitman on Thursday March 17th 4-8pm.

A  Funeral Mass will be held at St. John's Church in East Bridgewater on Friday March 18th at 10am. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Interment will be private.
