Russell D. Lindsay, age 85 of Whitman passed away May 1, 2021 at his home. Russell was born in Brockton and he was a lifelong resident of Whitman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked for General Dynamics at the Quincy Shipyard.

He is survived by his children Russell S. Lindsay and his partner Debra A. Nelligan of Whitman, Katharine Kelleher and her husband Shawn of Whitman, Debra Walker and her husband Kevin of Brockton, and the late Daniel Hayward.  Brother of Sally Harding of West Bridgewater and the late Robert Lindsay. Grandfather of Russell S. II, Austin W., Joshua, Shawn, Samantha, Devin, Lynrose, and Greggory. Also survived by his great-Grandchildren Russell S. III, Daicia and Lenna.

Relatives and friends invited to visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Saturday May 8 ^th 9-11 am.

A funeral service will follow at 11 am in the funeral Home.

Burial at Colebrook Cemetery in Whitman.
