Steven D. Ahearn, 59, of Whitman passed away June 16, 2018 at home. He was the beloved husband to Nancy M. (Donaghey) Ahearn, loving father to Steven A. Ahearn, Kristen E. Ahearn and Michael B. Ahearn, caring brother to Edward T. Ahearn, David R. Ahearn, Pam S. Wilde, Sandra E. Concannon, Joanne L. Williams and Dianne R. West. He is the son of Evelyn L.(Green) Ahearn and proud Grandfather of Nathan L. Ahearn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his Father John S. Ahearn and two brothers John B. Ahearn and Richard W. Ahearn.

Steven was a true family man. He looked forward to family gatherings. Whether it was Christmas Eve with his family exchanging small gifts, the Squantum parade on the 4th of July collecting candy for the children as the floats went by or a summer day at Big Sandy pond where he taught everyone how to fish. Steven enjoyed being with the ones he loved.

Steven will be remembered as a loving father, hard worker and incredibly skilled floor and car mechanic.
