Wallace "Wally" S. Goodwin, Jr., 86 of Rockland formerly of Dorchester passed away April 7, 2022. Husband of the late Maureen A (Sullivan) Goodwin. Loving father of Deborah Smith and her husband Bob of Whitman, Matthew Goodwin of Riverside, CA, Lee Parker and her husband Andrew of Easton, Theresa Goodwin of Abington, and Allison Goodwin of Seekonk Brother of Eleanor "Dolly" Simily of Simi Valley, CA. Papa to Craig and Jeff Smith, Brianna Goodwin, Shane and Valentin Parker, and Christian Goodwin. Great-grandfather of Bennett.

Wally was born in Roxbury. He was an old time radio buff. He was very patriotic and an avid Red Sox fan. He donated blood for many decades and proudly wore his many gallon donor pins. He also enjoyed singing , and his claim to fame is singing with Tony Bennett.

Funeral services will be private, with a burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rockland.

In lieu of flowers people can donate blood or make donations in his name to American Red Cross.
