William A. Hutchinson of Rockland passed away April 10, 2018. He was 87. Husband of the late Irene E. (Ewell) Hutchinson. William was a resident of Rockland for 60 years. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired sheet metal worker and he also worked for Shaws in Hanover for the past 15 years. He loved fishing, gardening, scratch tickets and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his children William Jr., of FL, Paula Mahoney of Rockland, Paul (P.J.) of Whitman, Irene Hackenson of Rockland and the late Mark Hutchinson and Barbara Clarke.  Brother of Floyd Hutchinson of Weymouth and Francis Hutchinson of Abington.  Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Saturday April 14 ^th 2-5 pm.

Burial will be private.
