William J. Knox, 85 of Hanson passed away March 17, 2018. Husband of the late Catherine (Roche) Knox. Beloved father of Maureen Frazier, William Knox and his wife Donna, Richard Knox and his wife Tracey, and the late Eileen Knox. Brother of the late Joseph, James and Richard Knox, and Marie McKee and Col. Barbara Knox USAF. Grandfather of Cameron Frazier, Jessica. Bill, Meaghan, Kelly, Christine and Richard Knox. Great-grandfather of Olivia Knox.  Father in law of the late Gerald Frazier.

William was born in South Boston and he was a graduate of Gate of Heaven High School. He was also a graduate of Bentley College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. serving during the Korean War. He was a retired worker from N.E Telephone. He loved playing keyboard, and banjo.

Memorial gathering in MacKinnon Funeral Home on Friday June 15th 10-10:30 am.  A memorial service to folllow at 10:30 am.

Interment with Military Honors will be held Friday June 15th at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 2:15 pm.
